With a focus on performance and ease-of-use, CRi develops and manufactures a broad portfolio of liquid crystal-based instruments and components for multispectral and polarized-light imaging, quantitative metrology, and optical tuning and modulation.

The Nuance™ 2, Maestro™; and LC-PolScope™ systems satisfy a wide variety of applications such as in-vivo molecular imaging, fluorescence and brightfield microscopy, live-cell imaging, and industrial process control. By improving signal-to-noise or by detecting multiple labels in a single sample, CRi technology is guaranteed to transcend the conventional.

The Maestro and Maestro 2 systems are affordable, breakthrough instruments for fluorescence-based in-vivo imaging. Maestro is unique in its ability to remove contrast-robbing autofluorescence, allowing for sensitive and accurate detection of label(s).

It comes equipped with a light-tight enclosure, configurable imaging area, tunable multispectral camera system, software interface and associated computer workstation. New FLEX™ technology allows even better low-light multiplexing performance.

The Nuance™ 2 multispectral imaging system dramatically improves images by performing fast, accurate spectral classification and Unmixing.
Its flexible design allows it to be retrofitted directly onto existing upright or inverted research-grade microscopes, and it can be configured for either brightfield or fluorescence microscopy in the visible (VIS) wavelength range of 420-720 nm (up to 950 nm for fluorescence-only systems).

The Abrio (formerly LC-PolScope™) Imaging systems are quantitative birefringence imaging systems for use in live-cell imaging, collagen birefringence mapping, structural imaging, materials research or industrial process control.
This patented technology enables fine birefringent structures to be imaged and measured within living cells or other materials non-invasively--without harmful dyes or UV light.

View microtubules, actin filaments, meiotic spindles, and neural growth cones at sensitivities two hundred-times greater than conventional polarized light methods. Measure stress at every point in glass, optical materials or polymers in seconds.

The Oosight™ imaging system can be used for in vitro fertilization or cell research applications. It is uniquely capable of capturing high-contrast images of the meiotic or mitotic spindle without the use of exogenous dyes or labels.
The system fits onto most research-grade microscopes, and relies on CRi's novel LC-PolScope technology in combination with easy-to-use software.
