The All-Rounder
The Multi-Dop® X series has been designed to fulfil the needs of the routine and the advanced monitoring applications in a desk top, or cart based design. The unique customised housing of the Multi-Dop® X series incorporates an integrated thermal printer, a swivel-arm TFT monitor, high quality stereo speakers and data storage devices.

Multi-Channel Monitoring
The Multi-Dop® X series comes in either a one channel (Multi-Dop® X1), two channel (Multi-Dop® X2), or four channel (Multi-Dop® X4) monitoring version with multi-range. Therefore, the Multi-Dop® X can meet the needs of the routine Doppler diagnosis with its automatic routines, or can fulfil the advanced requirements of the Operating Room, Intensive Care Unit, or a Stroke Unit with Multi-channel monitoring and emboli detection.

Upgradeability
The Multi-Dop® X series has been designed to enable the unit to be easily upgraded locally from a Multi-Dop X1 to an X2 or an X4 should the application needs require, and the budget allow.

Routine Doppler
The Multi-Dop® X offers 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 MHz Doppler frequencies. This allows the user complete flexibility for a variety of routine applications. Automatic examination programs and Doppler settings can be started by simply clicking on self-configured buttons on-screen.

High Quality Doppler
DWL’s internationally renowned high quality Doppler signal has been implemented in the Multi-Dop® X series. This ensures that even in the more difficult of acoustic windows that the system’s signal clarity will assist diagnosis and save time.

Ease of Use
The software has been developed with the utmost attention to ease of use and time saving features. The clearly structured func-tions are executed using either keyboard, remote control, or mouse. The routine protocols and customised reports ensure that the system is optimally utilised in any clinical Doppler setting.

Multi-Range for Emboli Detection
The systems are equipped with one (X1), two (X2), or four (X4) 2-channel Multi-Range Dopplers. The Multi-Range Doppler reduces the challenge of differentiating emboli from artifacts to a minimum. Since emboli travel through the vessel, they are detected at different gates at different times. Artifacts, on the other hand, show up at all gates at exactly the same time. Special algorithms provide the user with information during the recording. The data can be re-analysed and post-processed in off-line mode.

Functional Tests
Functional tests enable the pre- and post-operative evaluation of the hemodynamic parameters of different parts of the brain, and are a useful aid to determine the hemodynamic relevance of vessel lesions. The Multi-Dop® X Series offers the following tests:
Determination of the vasomotoric response (CO2 test, VMR test); Determination of CCP; Autoregulation test; Evoke-flow test; VasoChecker® Software (Optional).

Integrated CO2 Unit
The Multi-Dop® X series is furbished with an integrated CO2 module to simplify various physiological and functional tests, for example, CO2 reactivity and autoregulation test.

Windows® Operating System and Network Compatible
Due to the use of Windows® Operating System the Multi-Dop® X series can be integrated into existing networks. Furthermore all other advantages of the Windows platform can be fully utilised in the Multi-Dop® X series. The features of the DWL Windows® software can be configured by the users to meet individual needs.

Audio-Playback
The Multi-Dop® X series also features Audio-Playback, allowing the acoustic signals to be saved and replayed any time you like - an excellent teaching tool, and of particular assistance with the interpretation of High Intensity Transient Signals (HITS).
