EZ-Dop® - The Smallest, Most Portable TCD System with 5
Frequencies
Small Proportions – Big Performance
The EZ-Dop® is a compact Doppler device for
trans-cranial, extra-cranial and peripheral examination,
that is outstanding in terms of portability and
flexibility.
The unique compact design allows the user to move the
system to almost any location – in fact the most recent
studies took place on top of the Himalayas! Thus
offering the user a truly portable system for a wide
range of applications.
The user can choose a total of four frequencies from 1,
2, 4, 8 and 16 MHz. Thus offering complete flexibility
regarding the clinical applications of the EZ-Dop®:
whether the user wants to perform standard TCD
examinations with a 2 MHz probe, or invasive
micro-vascular studies with the 16 MHz probe, the EZ-Dop®
provides the solution. The system also offers an easy
upgrade path. Should application needs require, the
EZ-Dop® functionality can be expanded locally with the
addition of new software licenses and probes.
Whilst developing the EZ-Dop®, DWL placed great value on
creating a system that was easy to use. The integration
of a choke dial on the main unit ensures that the user
can move easily and effortlessly through the transparent
menu structure. The optionally available remote control
also ensures that the system is intuitive to use, thus
leaving the user more time to concentrate on acquiring
the best Doppler signals from the patient.
DWL’s internationally renowned high quality Doppler
signal has been implemented in the EZ-Dop®. This ensures
that even in the more difficult of acoustic windows that
the EZ-Dop® signal clarity will assist diagnosis and
save time.
The EZ-Dop® features a color built-in TFT display, thus
enabling clear presentation of the Doppler data.
Computer-assisted signal preparation (Fast Fourier
Transformation, FFT with 128 points) provides the doctor
a range of diagnosis, documentation, and analysis tools.
The measured velocities on-line are accurately
displayed. The spectral analysis provides the examiner
additional information on the blood flow profile useful
in routine investigations thus supporting the reliable
and easy-to-document diagnosis.
All data are stored on the built-in hard-disk and
administered in a well-structured database. An external
laser or color ink-jet printer can be connected to the
EZ-Dop® enabling the user to document examinations with
either a text or color graphic report.
The EZ-Dop® also features Audio-Playback, allowing the
acoustic signals to be saved and replayed any time you
like– an excellent teaching tool, and of particular
assistance with the interpretation of High Intensity
Transient Signals (HITS).
Monitoring is also possible as an option for long term
recording with manual or automatic marker, automatic
HITS detection and Audio-playback for events. |
