procedure room possible.
Rotation
As office-based settings become equipped with more
pieces of equipment and equipment larger in size, such
as lasers, rooms are becoming congested. Selecting a
procedures table equipped with the rotation option can
improve efficiency by allowing the patient to be moved
to the equipment, instead of the equipment being moved
to the patient.
The simple touch of a pedal on either side of the table
offers 350 degrees of rotation; touch the pedal again to
lock the table in place. It’s that easy!
Efficient Foot Control with QuickChairTM
With an intuitive hand control and
revolutionary foot control, the Midmark 630 operates
easy and efficiently. The foot control comes with an
industry first, QuickChairTM feature, which
allows the table to return to a low entry position for
the easiest, quickest dismounting available.
Adjustable Arm System
The optional adjustable arm system accessory offers
a sense of security for patients, and a stable and
secure platform to assist them in getting on and off the
table. With the simple touch of a lever, the arms can be
rotated and locked into one of three positions, so they
are in the right position for you.
Heated Upholstery
Optional heated seat and lumbar improve patient
comfort and reduce patient anxiety.
Hand Control
Intuitive hand control with side rail bracket for
easy-to-find location.
Electrical Outlets
Optional hospital grade outlets allow easy access to
electrical power, which provides a clean look to the
room and floor space free of power cords.
Midmark 622 Barrier-Free™ Examination Tables
Accommodate
Everyone
The
Midmark 622 and 623 High-Low Examination Tables deliver
the highest quality care to your patients, staff and
you. Many different types of patients can face a
frustrating dilemma in a physician’s office… how to get
on the exam table. Being able to easily get onto an exam
table can increase a patient’s comfort during the exam,
help the physician conduct a more thorough and accurate
exam and increase the satisfaction level of the overall
patient experience. Breaking down these barriers in the
exam room by having a Barrier-Free™ table will allow for
an equality in healthcare that has been nonexistent in
the past.
Most of the time, we think only elderly or disabled
patients are the ones who need assistance getting on and
off an exam table. However, there are many children who
need assistance and would benefit from using a
Barrier-Free™ examination table as well.
Midmark’s Barrier-Free™ examination tables easily lower
to a child’s level, lift up small children and lower
tall children so that the doctor can easily examine
them. Obese children can also get on the table
effortlessly.
Break Down The
Barriers™
“Since there’s no way to reverse the aging process, the
American healthcare system must start to prepare for the
increase in elderly patients – and the decrease in
caregivers. They can start with a simple step: equipping
the examination room with products that make it easier
for patients and the healthcare professionals who treat
them.”
With the average age of patients on the rise, it is more
likely that patients will need assistance in accessing
an exam table. Increasing numbers of patients are likely
to use wheelchairs, walkers or require staff aid.
Barrier-Free™ tables allow patients to retain their
dignity while getting on the table with little or no
help.
Patient Safety
To meet the needs of America’s disabled patients, as
well as the physicians who care for them, Midmark’s
Barrier-Free™ examination tables decrease the chance of
injury, help maintain the patient’s dignity and reduce
their anxiety.
Efficient
Patient Care
“Ask any physician or member of their office staff and
you’ll find that these new products fix problems they
didn’t even recognize: possible back injury, extra labor
and unproductive time. For the patient…these tables
offer safe access, back support and eliminate the
discomfort that comes from sitting with their legs
dangling.”
Achieving the
Highest Level of Efficiency, Safety and Comfort in the
Examination Room for Both Physician and Patient
By listening to the needs of physicians and their
patients, Midmark has developed new products that
deliver higher levels of exam room efficiency and
comfort to the patient, the physician and the staff.
These new tables also reduce the likelihood of distress
and injury to patients who are elderly, handicapped,
obese or even pregnant who may have difficulty in
accessing a standard exam table. Designed with the
support of physicians and advocacy groups, Midmark
believes its line of Barrier-Free™ tables go a long way
in creating better exam room experiences for both the
patient and the doctor.
“Decreasing the need for assistance gives the patient an
improved sense of confidence.”

Midmark 419 Power Procedure Examination Chair
The
Midmark 419 Power Procedure Examination Chair is ideal
for Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, Oral Maxillofacial
Surgeons and all healthcare professionals requiring
maximum access to the head and neck area of patients. It
features a narrow neck area and a unique, slim backrest,
for a large work surface and greater legroom for
improved patient access.
Midmark understands how important patient comfort is to
physicians... which is why the Midmark 419 was designed
to keep patients in place as they power the chair to the
desired position. No more sliding and adjusting...
positioning is now automatic. Add to that its ergonomic
sculptured backrest and seamless upholstery, and we're
sure you'll agree... the Midmark 419 is the ultimate in
patient comfort.
For physicians'convenience, as well as that of their
staff, the Midmark 419 powers all the way down to 22
3/8" so patients can easily get on and off the chair,
without the need to be lifted. Once the patient is on
the chair, it powers up to as high as 40 3/8", so
physicians won't have to bend or stoop to perform their
procedure. The Midmark 419 with programmability offers
the added convenience of being able to position the
chair to the same setting with the touch of a button,
every time.
The seamless, styled upholstery makes it easier for
physicians and their staff to clean and maintain
infection control. It can easily be removed without the
use of any tools. And with its removable armrests and
fully articulating headrest, it's the perfect chair for
any healthcare facility.
Features
Ready positioning, power height, tilt, foot and back,
foot control, articulating headrest, easily removable
upholstery top, pull out foot extension and leveling

Midmark 491 Power Otolaryngology Chair System
Exams,
procedures and surgeries are faster, easier and more
stable with the Midmark 491. It positions patients
precisely… at the touch of a button. The 491’s power low
height of 22" makes mounting and dismounting the chair
easy for patients. Its highest height of 31" lets the
physician put patients at their most comfortable working
height and tapered headrests and narrow 18½" width lets
the physician work in close.
The 491`s power back goes from an upright 90° angle to
completely flat position. The ‘Auto Return’ button
quickly returns the patient to the dismount position.
Power controls are located on both sides of the chair`s
back. An optional foot control allows the physician to
maintain a sterile field.
The 491`s positioning flexibility is further enhanced by
330° rotation.
The extremely stable power chair
The 491`s solid steel base makes the chair extremely
stable. Physicians work with more confidence and
patients feel less anxious, especially during delicate
otolaryngologic procedures.
Work in close
Tapered headrests and a narrow 18½" width let the
physician work in close. Armrests lower when the chair
reclines, or they rotate up and out of the physician’s
way. And the footrest locks into the upright position
when flipped out of the way with a touch of the toe—for
easy front access.
Two hospital grade electrical receptacles let the
physician plug in lights, accessories and equipment
without tripping over cords. Specially designed exam
lights can be ordered as attached accessories or may be
field-installed later.
Choose from three headrests
Three fully articulating styles are available. The 491
comes standard with a full size headrest and the
optional occipital or contoured headrests can be added.
Midmark 417 Power Podiatry Treatment Chair
With
its convenient low height of 22 1/2", power positioning
and user friendly controls, the Midmark 417 is the
perfect choice for podiatrists. Simply touch one button
on the foot control or optional Hand-held Commander to
achieve one of the pre-programmed positions. Power
height, tilt and back move simultaneously for faster,
more efficient exams.
The auto return function brings the 417 back to the
chair position. It saves precious seconds on each
procedure.
Foot extension
Do a lot of orthotics? The 417's adjustable foot
extension makes orthotic procedures easier by
positioning patients’ feet exactly where they’re needed.
It extends 8-7/8" and comfortably accommodates patients
of all sizes.
Prefer to work standing? With the 417 at maximum tilt,
the foot extension goes as high as 58" and locks
automatically to avoid accidental movement.
Electrical receptacles, 'On/Off' switch
Two duplex hospital grade electrical receptacles, one on
each side of the chair, let the podiatrist use
electrical instruments and lights without tangling or
tripping over cords.
Flip the 417's 'On/Off' switch to "off" during delicate
procedures to prevent any accidental movement. Power is
still supplied to the receptacles.
Midmark 416 Power Podiatry Examination Chair
Because
podiatric exams call for special positions, the Midmark
416 puts patients’ feet exactly where the podiatrist
needs them. The 416’s power back and tilt make
positioning easy and let the podiatrist work in a seated
position.
Foot extension
Podiatrists who perform a lot of orthotics will find the
416’s adjustable foot extension indispensable! It
extends 8- 7/8" and comfortably accommodates patients of
all heights… making work easier. And, it locks
automatically to avoid any accidental movement.
Debris tray
Conveniently located under the foot section, the debris
tray tilts at various angles depending on the tilt of
the chair. Extend it up to 8¾" so it's out of the way.
Tilt it up to 180° to dispose of waste into the waste
receptacle without removing tray. All done? Slide the
debris tray under the foot section.
Electrical receptacles, ‘On/Off’ switch
Two duplex hospital grade electrical receptacles, one on
each side of the chair, let the podiatrist use
electrical instruments and lights without tripping over
or tangling cords.
Flip the 416's ‘On/Off’ switch to "off" during delicate
procedures to prevent any accidental movement. Power is
still supplied to the receptacles.

Knee-Chest
The foot support can be easily reconfigured, and the
table properly positioned, to set up the knee-chest
position for colon and rectal examinations and
procedures.
Lithotomy
Extending the stirrups and treatment pan, lowering the
foot support, and slightly tilting the table, provide
the perfect lithotomy position for OB/GYN examinations
and procedures.
Trendelenburg
Whether better positioning the patient, treating for
shock or faintness, or increasing anesthesia onset, the
Trendelenburg position offers
a full 30° of tilt.
Flat
The table supports examinations and procedures requiring
supine, prone, left lateral, or right lateral
positioning, when in the flat position.
Low Entry
With the increasing number of elderly and disabled
patients, the low entry position makes it easy and safe
for the patient to get onto and off the table.
Optional hospital grade outlets allow easy access to
electrical power, which provides a clean look to the
room and floor space free of power cords.
An easy-to-use foot control powers your patient
effortlessly to the desired position, and in addition to
a modern look, provides maximum protection against
ingress of fluids.
An optional hand control accessory provides an alternate
method to the foot control for positioning patients.
The optional adjustable arm system accessory offers a
sense of security for patients and a stable and secure
platform to assist them in getting onto and off the
table. With the simple touch of a lever, the arms can be
rotated and locked into one of three positions, so the
arms are in the right place for you.
The optional 12" wide, tapered headrest accessory offers
more access to the head and neck area of the patient.
