The GEMINI's unique open design increases patient comfort by decreasing the claustrophobic effect experienced in the long tunnel associated with a closed gantry system. Easy access to the patient improves the ability to perform interventional procedures.

The GEMINI enhances oncology imaging workflow making it the ideal system for diagnostic imaging and treatment planning applications. The addition of a flat table top, laser positioning system, and CT localization software, enables the GEMINI to be utilized as a simulation scanner for treatment planning.
