we introduced the first totally computerized Urodynamic system during the AUA in Atlanta.

we introduced a line of portable systems, which met with great success. In 1986, Ing Goping, who had become our chief engineer immediately after leaving university was developing a Urodynamic program based on a Windows 2.0 version. It was not until the version 3.0 that we were capable of introducing a device running on a stable Windows platform.

Once again, we pioneered in that specialized field of Urodynamics on a Windows platform.  

Even before the full potential of Windows™ was recognized, we were programming our Urodynamics software in Windows™ to make it easier for our customers to use.

In 1982, as the incidence of incontinence was increasing and getting more medical attention, the science of Urodynamics was still in an early stage. Because tests were quite lengthy and equipment was quite complicated to use, few urology centers wanted to invest the time, effort and money required to do Urodynamics evaluations. Laborie saw that by using computers, many of these handicaps could be overcome. So in 1984, Laborie introduced the world to the very first computerized Urodynamics processor ever produced.
